Obituary for Rev. George S. Bunn III Rev. George S. Bunn, III, age 85, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski, Virginia, son of the late George S. Bunn, Jr. and Winifred Duncan Bunn. George received a Master’s Degree in Theology and was the Priest at Emmanuel Episcopal Church for twenty-five years. He is survived by wife of fifty-eight years, Barbara Bunn; his children, David S. Bunn and wife Lindy, of Fairfax, VA, Jonathan R. Bunn and wife Karen, of St. George, UT, and Gabrielle E. Bunn, of Fairfax, VA; and three grandchildren, Katy Bunn, Alex Bunn, and Rachel Jackson. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Bristol, VA with Rev. Joe Dunagan officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church. Committal and Inurnment will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Arrangements especially for Rev. George S. Bunn, III and his family have been made through Oakley-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory.
