Edythe Smith of Harrison, Tennessee passed away at home, surrounded by her family on April 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lance and Maude Sanders of Ontario, Canada and Husband of 49 years, Norman Smith. She was passionately known by… Read More » all as “Ma”. She was a Registered Nurse whose passion was caring for premature babies in the hospital’s nursery. Upon retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and knitting. She received an award for the “Best Sports Fan in the Crowd”, attending more than 800 grandchild related sporting events across thirteen states. She was a resilient person, a survivor of several major life-threatening medical conditions, never a complainer regardless of the circumstance. The family would like to thank all the loving and caring staff at the PACE program.
