Mr. Louie Scott, age 85, of Orangeburg , South Carolina died, Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born on December 18, 1932 in Holly Hill, South Carolina to the late Jew Scott and Lessie Weatherford Scott. He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He loved his church, Victory Hill Church of God. Louie will be greatly missed by his loving wife, family and many friends. Louie is survived by his wife of 63 years: Lottie Scott of Orangeburg, SC; Daughters: Lillian Rider (Kerwin Sr.) and Belle Neese (Kerry); son: Lewis Scott; Sister: Millie Stirling; brother: Leon Scott; step daughters: Shirley Moore and Kathleen Kester; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Millie Stirling and Everlou Scott. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon PM on Saturday, April 21 2018 at Avinger Funeral Home Chapel, 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill, SC 29059. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 21 2018 until the time of service. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery.
