Gizelia C Cabral 2018

Gizelia C. Cabral, 73, of Carolina Ave., Providence, passed away at home surround by her loving family, Wednesday, April 18, 2018, after a brave battle with malignant epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, a rare heart cancer. She was the beloved wife of Louis S. Cabral. Born July 15, 1944, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Humberto da Camara and the late Clotilde (Garcia) Camara. She was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church where she taught catechism for many years, and was active in the Oracao prayer group. In addition to her husband of 56 years, she leaves her 4 children, Maria Lolita Rodas, Nelson M. Cabral, Stephanie C. Cabral and Louis Kristoffer Cabral; 7 grandchildren, Antonio Jr., Brandon, Ashley, Briana, Gizelle, Emalyse and Trinity; and her great granddaughter, Alaniya. She was also the sister of Grimoalda DeJesus, Fatima Smith, Teresa Sacchetti, Lucia Carvalho, Anna Young, Joao Camara, Paul Camara, Susana Lima and the late Sandra McArthur. Her funeral will begin Monday, April 23, at 8:45am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, from 5pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to offset funeral and cemetery costs are greatly appreciated.
