Raymond L. Blinn Formerly of New Brighton Raymond L. Blinn, 93, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls. Born September 9, 1924, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Emma (Baker) Blinn. He was retired from LTV Steel, where he was a steel pourer. Raymond was a member of the Beaver County Men of Melody, Retired Men’s Association, Circle of Friends, and the Retiree Golf League at Blackhawk golf course. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Brighton. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Harold. Surviving are his three children, Carol Jean Greiner, North Sewickley Twp.; Raymond (Theresa) Blinn, Columbus, Ohio, and Richard (Norina) Blinn, Industry; a sister, Delores Kross, Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two nieces, one nephew and their families. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Ours officiating. Private entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.
