Obituary for Malcolm Carter Mosier Sr. Malcolm Carter Mosier Sr., 70, of Athens Township, formerly of North Rome, PA passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Malcolm was born in Sayre, PA on September 27, 1947 one of 11 children to Frank Edward Mosier Sr. and Esther Mae Gillmer Mosier. He grew up in North Rome and attended school at Athens and Northeast Bradford. Malcolm served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He worked in construction for many years and was later employed as a security guard. Malcolm retired from Cargill in Wyalusing, PA. He will be remembered by many as a dedicated and hard worker. Malcolm loved spending time with his family, vacationing at the beach, the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing games and fun times with his grandchildren, playing cards with family and friends, and going to the casino. Surviving are his wife, Peggy Ann Dunn Mosier, children, Tina Updyke (Justin Sr.) of Waverly, Wendy Jennings (Bart) of Friendsville, Clay Mosier of North Rome, grandchildren, Amber, Autumn, Justin Jr., Ashley, Abigail, Alyssa, Allison, Nicholas and Jayden, great grandchildren, Chloie, Ryan, and Adrian, sister, June R. Victory (Jim) of Rome, brothers, William D. Mosier (Diane) of Rome, Weston W. Mosier (Bobbi Jo) of Rome, Keith L. Mosier (Maryanne) of Rome Township, Dennis D. Mosier of Rome, Leon W. Mosier (Holli) of Rome Township, brothers-in-law, Everett Finch of Athens Township, Norm Morrell, sister-in-law, Michelle Mosier of Rome, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Malcolm Carter Mosier Jr. on May 7, 1976, his father, Frank Edward Mosier Sr. on September 22, 1988, mother, Esther Mae Gillmer Mosier on October 17, 2006, brothers, Charles F. Mosier on October 22, 2015, Frank Edward Mosier Jr. on November 27, 2013, and sisters, Nancy Finch on October 18, 2012, and Vivian Morrell on May 8, 2005.
