Emma Janet (nee Wineburg) Doody passed away at home, April 11, 2018, at the age of 88. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Janet grew up in the Philadelphia area, where she graduated from Abington High School. A resident of Warminster for more than 50 years, Janet was known for the quilts she made, and as a devoted wife to Thomas John Doody, who preceded her in death in 2015. Surviving Janet is her sister, Doris Strachan; three nieces, Sandra Strachan-Vieira, Susan Strachan, and AnneLynn Cassar; a nephew, Eric Wineburg; and sister-in-law Jeanne Wineburg. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Tues. April 24, after 10:30 a.m., followed by her funeral service, 11:30 a.m., in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Rd., Hatboro, Pa. Her interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa.
