Obituary for Eleanor M. Martin (Thirsk) Eleanor M. Martin, 78, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was born in Long Island, New York, to the late James and Ruby (Theen) Thirsk and was the companion of Joe Inzerillo. Eleanor was an office manager in a physician’s office. She loved her grandkids and the Florida sunshine. Eleanor is survived by 3 children, Deborah, wife of Ronald Fasnacht of Ephrata, Linda Reyes of Idaho, Richard Jr., husband of Cathy Martin of Long Island, NY; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Carolyn, wife of Robert Ober of Akron, Gail Kerr of Florida. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 10 to 11 AM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North Ninth Street, Akron, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM with Pastor Jeffrey Martin officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Eleanor’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society-Lanc. Co. Unit, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
