Obituary for Theodore J. “Ted” Miko
Theodore “Ted” Miko, age 89, of Cleveland, OH passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 29, 2018.
Ted was born May 24, 1928 in Erie, PA to the late John and Martha Miko. He attended West Tech High School and then joined the U.S. Army. He served in Korea prior to the war. Ted started West Park Television April 28, 1952 and it is still a running business. He was a 50 year member of North Star Lodge #638 F&AM and Worshipful Master in 1984, and a member and past patron of West Park Chapter #427. He enjoyed Amateur Radio and his call letters were W8PVC. Ted was an all-around great guy and he will surely be missed.
Devoted husband of 68 years to Virginia “Ginny” Miko (nee Hahn); cherished father of Marsha (the late Donald) Bendinger, David (the late Debbie) Miko, and James (Diane) Miko; wonderful grandfather to Barbara (Mike) van der Biezen, Debbie (Mark) Nicholas, Brian Miko, Jennifer Miko, Christopher (Julie) Miko, and Becky (Doug) Hasse; loving great grandfather of Jordan and Paige Nicholas, Taylor and Jenna van der Biezen, Kaeley and Claire Miko, Ally and Matthew Herman, Brooklyn and Denver Teresi.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
