Shelba J. Demaree, 78, beloved wife of Edward L. Demaree, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at home. She was born on September 28, 1939 in Whitley County, Kentucky. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward L. Demaree. The devoted mother of Genevra (Jay) Butterfield, Glenna (Gary)Eckman and Eddy Demaree, Jr. Beloved grandmother to James, Elizabeth, Crystal, Rebecca, Amber, Madisyn, Kristen, and Ryan. Great grandmother to Chloe, Zane, Lauren, Kenny Jr., Kayla and Skyler, and dear sister of surviving siblings Sonny Davis, Denny Davis, Daniel Davis, Betty Towe, and Evelyn Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents Eston and Mabel Davis, three sisters Glenna Guard, Juanita Cooke, Barbara Freeman and two bothers, Allen Davis and infant brother. A visitation will be held at Christ’s Church of Mason on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 1:30 PM. Burial ceremony will follow at West Chester Township Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to The Heart Association or Grace Hospice. favorite_border Donations Pledges
