Obituary for DOROTHY “DOTTIE” MEYER Dorothy “Dottie” Meyer, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 6, 1953 in White Plains, New York to Ernest and Gertrude (Tarbish) Walker. Dottie married the love of her life, Kenny Meyer, on May 12, 1983. She was a Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 29 years, which took her to many places overseas. Dottie loved art, travelling, shopping and swimming with her grandkids. She was a beautiful artist. There was nothing like her gallows humor. Dottie has done many things in her life, but she was most proud of her family. She worried more about them than herself. Dottie is survived by her husband, Kenny; sons, Alex (Anna) Zicari, Owen (Olga) Zicari and Nolan Meyer; daughters, Caitlin Meyer, Nicole (Mike) Pecora and Clover (Galin) Yordanova; brother, Richard Walker; sister, Charlotte (Jerry) Moore and grandchildren, Ava, Lola, Olivia, Gracie, Sam, Veronica, Lily, Fiona and Henry. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Service to be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, 1 PM at the funeral home with Dr. Michael E. Carlson officiating. Burial to follow in Park Cemetery, Garrettsville, Ohio.
