Louise Caldwell Edwards 2018

Louise Caldwell Edwards Loving wife, mother & daughter Waynesville-Louise C. Edwards, 80, of the Ivy Hill Community, passed away at The Homestead on April 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents George Ira and Blye Caldwell, one sister; Mildred Caldwell Crawford, and one brother; George Ira Caldwell, Jr. Louise is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dwain Edwards, one daughter; Kim (Glenn) Browning, Jr. of Bethel, one brother; James Claude Caldwell of Maggie Valley, two granddaughters; Megan (Patrick) Nassis, of Waynesville and McKenna Browning of Bethel and one great-granddaughter; Maddie Lee Erwin. Louise was also expecting twin great-granddaughters in June. Louise retired in 1990 from Dayco after 34 years. She loved fishing, camping, crocheting and knitting. In addition, she loved her grandkids and great-granddaughter, along with spending time with her family. Louise was of the Baptist Faith. Services will be held at 2 pm on April 16, 2018 at the Mausoleum of Garrett-Hillcrest Park with Rev. Chris Willett, Rev. Barry Willett and Rev. Paul Murdock officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-2 pm in the Mausoleum. Entombment will follow services at Garrett-Hillcrest Park. Pallbearers include: Bill Faircloth, Jim Rogers, Glenn Browning, Jr., Doug Edwards, Patrick Nassis and Gerald McMahan. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to The Homestead in honor of Louise.
