James “Garry” Green Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather Waynesville-James Green, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Green; his father, James Green and his brother, Billy Joe Green. Garry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Julia Green; son Garry Duane and his wife Tammy Green; mother, Helen Green Foster; and one granddaughter, Mikayla all of Waynesville; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Garry was born and raised in Haywood county, and was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Army. Garry worked at Little Champion for 17 years until he retired and then worked as a service technician for Sears. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, but above all, he loved his family and cats.
