Richard L Ratchet Yattaw 1956 2018

Obituary of Richard L. Yattaw Richard L. Yattaw of Buskirk, known to friends as “Ratchet,” passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the age of 61. Born in Troy, he is the beloved son of Pat and Shirley Marriner Yattaw, both of Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School. Ratchet was a well known skilled contractor and had also been employed at various construction companies. Even in his spare time he’d always be found working on a new project in the backyard. Richard loved Pepsi, the 49ers, and collecting just about anything he could find, always finding value in the things, and people around him. Always being able to bring a smile to your face, he would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. Cherished father of Renee Markowicz-Yattaw, devoted partner of Dee Fifield, loved mother of his child Sandra Markowicz, loving brother of Patrick, Tammy and Tina Yattaw and the late Michael Yattaw, also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 and to share memories which will begin at 5:00 p.m. Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, One Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110, in memory of Richard L. “Ratchet” Yattaw.
