Maggie Loretta Brown 1934 2018

Obituary of Maggie Brown Maggie Loretta Brown (Mag) was born on Tuesday, September 6, 1934 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Mr. Calvin Brown and Mrs. Ida Nesmith-Brown. She was the third child of four siblings; one sibling (Isaiah Brown preceded her in death). Maggie received her formal education from Buist Elementary School and graduated from Burke Industrial High School. After high school Mag desired to enter into the United States Army but was unable to do so. Instead, Mag, still in pursuit of a better life accepted a job and migrated to Woodridge, New York where she lived until her death. She leaves to mourn her death, two sisters Retha Mae Brown and Elizabeth Anderson, four children Kevin Brown, Gerald Brown and his wife Shevaun, Reginald Brown and Quintina Michelle Brown, one son in law Albert Jenkins as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 5258 Main Street in South Fallsburg on Saturday, April 28, 2018. The wake will be from 10-12:00PM with the funeral services immediately following.
