Obituary for George C. Gates, Jr. GATES, JR. George, C. of Hamburg, NY April 7, 2018; beloved husband of the late Dawn L. (nee Schneider) Gates; loving father of Melvin G. (Cindy) Gates, Odella (Joseph) Madeja and the late Michael J. (Mary) Gates; cherished grandpa to 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Linda Burns, Terrance (Kathy) Gates and the late Carol (late Tom) Yetman and Marjorie (Ronald) Franklin. Family will be present to receive friends Monday from 3-7 pm at the (Hamburg Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC. 5453 Southwestern Blvd. (corner of Rogers Rd. 646-5555) where funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm. Flowers gratefully declined.
