Debra Mae VanDyke, of Auburn, passed away with her loving family by her side on April 20, 2018. She was born on June 6, 1959 in Auburn to the Russel and Anna Mae Lockwood VanDyke. She was a graduate of Port Byron Central School Class of 1976. She was the Rock of the family and a friend to all. Debra was always there to help out everyone. She was a cook at Ann’s Family Restaurant for many years. Debra enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the scratch off lottery but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by: Children: Ronda Kehoe and her husband Scott Ronald Jay Alnutt Jr. Ann Marie Leonard Jaci Leonard Grandchildren: Karlie Kehoe Karissa Kehoe Jaelyn “Boobie” Leonard Paul Currier III Brother: Russell “Rusty” VanDyke Jr. Sister: Connie VanDyke A very special Uncle Ray Lockwood and wife Karen Aunts: Marilyn Lockwood Carolyn Bilinsky Debs companions: Jersey her dog, and Fluffy & Precious Cats Debra is predeceased by her father Russell Vandyke Sr., grandparents, Ray & Irene Lockwood, Lester & Ellen Vandyke. Visitation will be from 4PM to 7PM on Thursday April 26, 2018 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn. A final farewell will be at 10AM at the funeral home on Friday April 27, 2018. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop. A celebration of life will follow at 12PM at Fleming 1 Fire Station, 6063 West Lake Road, Auburn. Contributions may be made to Debra VanDyke Memorial Fund, 113 Grant Avenue, Auburn, NY 13021.
