Obituary for David Griswold KIRKWOOD (previously Cortland) – David L. Griswold, 59, died unexpectedly April 23, 2018 in a truck accident. Born in Annapolis, MD on November 12, 1958, he was owner/operator of 5 Mile Point Logistics, a store manager of Fays/Eckerd Drugs for 25 years, a 6 yr. mail transporter, past Co-President Kirkwood Youth Booster Club and Board Member of Habitat for Humanity. An avid sports fan (Orioles, Colts) & fisherman, he also enjoyed youth baseball & following his children’s sports endeavors. Survived by Coleen (Spearbeck), his “rock” and love of his life for 27 years; daughter, Becca; son, Tony; mother, Erma Knutson, SD; in-laws Burt & Connie Gebo; siblings, Daryl (Elizabeth), Laurie (Wade), Steve, and Billy; sisters-in-law, Barb, Deanne (Brian Hoffman) and Alison (Drew Davis); many friends, especially Walt (Margo); his beloved pets, Tucker, Ranger, Odin, Kodi, Kaylee, Champ; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by Lyle (father), Lloyd (step-dad) and DeeDee (sister). A celebration of his life will be held May 5 at River Park, Kirkwood from 4-7pm.
