Obituary of John Goldstein John F. Goldstein, age 60, of New Egypt, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Capital Health in Trenton. He was born in Jersey City to the late Howard and Margaret Goldstein on May 16, 1957. John lived in Old Bridge for several years before moving to New Egypt 35 years ago. He worked at H & H Gas as a delivery driver. John was a member of the New Egypt Elks, Lodge #2457. He enjoyed hunting, boating and fishing. He played live music and would DJ events in his free time. John liked to build and construct different things, and always felt pride doing that by hand. He would often volunteer his time to anyone in need and lived to make others laugh. He enjoyed watching the NY Giants and most importantly, John loved life. He was a loving father, brother, partner and friend who will be deeply missed. John is predeceased by his parents Howard and Margaret Goldstein (nee Tardy). He leaves behind his son John Goldstein, Jr. of Wrightstown; his daughter Melissa Goldstein of Baltimore, MD; his girlfriend Susan Schroeder of Hainesport; his three brothers, Danny Goldstein of Las Vegas, NV, Steve Goldstein of Sayerville and David Goldstein of Bayville; a sister Lenore Goldstein of Manhattan, NY and also many friends who he loved very much. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the New Egypt Elks Lodge, 105 Lakewood Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John’s memory can be made to the family in care of Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 to help with funeral expenses.
