Catherine M. Donahue, 74, of Iselin, died on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at RWJ at Rahway. Born in Girardville, PA she had lived in Elizabeth & Linden before moving to Iselin in 1995. She attended Battin HS in Elizabeth. She worked at Solid State Inc. for over 20 years. She was a parishioner of St Cecelia’s RC Church in Iselin. She loved movies, telling stories of the past, & cooking, but most of all spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her brother, Michael Agresto. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph D. Donahue; 4 children, Patricia Chorazak & her husband Richard of Iselin, Joseph M. Donahue of Iselin, Kathleen Beglan of Iselin, & James Donahue & his wife Susan of Colonia; 9 grandchildren, Joseph Donahue, Jason Donahue, MaryKate Chorazak, Sarah Chorazak, Christopher Beglan, Emily Beglan, Thomas Beglan, Jennifer Beglan, & James Donahue; 3 siblings, Sue Romanosky of Endwell, NY, Ernest Agresto & his wife Joan of Roselle, & Margaret McGuire & her husband John of Ringtown, PA; & many nieces & nephews. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 9:30am from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 1225 Green Street & Cooper Avenue, Iselin, followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecelia’s RC Church, Iselin. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
