Obituary for Suzy Hahn (Schlecht) Memorial services for Suzy Hahn, age 60, of West Point, NE will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point, NE, with Pastor Richard Bringewatt officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Minnick Funeral Home of West Point is handling the arrangements for the family. Suzy passed away on April 13th at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer. Suzette Mae (Schlecht) Hahn was born on June 15, 1957 in Norfolk, NE to Lester and Margaret “Midge” (Wortman) Schlecht. Suzy grew up on a farm near Scribner, NE and graduated from West Point High School. Suzy lived in the Columbus, NE area, owning Suzy’s Little River Café for several years. She was currently working as a cook at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE. Suzy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point and was a member of the Walk Stars-Cuming Co. Relay for Life Team. She loved spending time with her family, going to pumpkin patches, gardening, reading and playing cards. Suzy loved to make people smile. Survivors include- Father-Lester Schlecht of Beemer, NE Daughter- Jennifer Moore of Columbus, NE and family- Pedro and Joey Villa Son- Scott Hahn and fiancé Justine of Hickman, NE Suzy was preceded in death by her mother-Midge Schlecht and a brother-Randy Schlecht.
