Mr. Lenne LaRue, III, 33, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in Greencastle, PA. Born September 13, 1984, in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of Lenne LaRue, II, Chunchula, AL and Sandra (Rice) Morse, Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from the Marine Science Center, Jacksonville in 2002. Lenne considered himself to have two homes; in Waynesboro, where he could enjoy the mountains and in Florida where he loved to surf in the ocean. He worked as a pipe fitter for a number of years, which required him to travel to several states across the US. His real passion was for music. He was a talented singer, songwriter and guitarist for numerous bands over the years, and enjoyed working in the tristate area in the radio business. Above all else, Lenne was an incredible father and was fueled by his children every day to inspire and “take over the world.” Lenne lived life to the fullest, despite his own struggles with Graves’ disease and Mental Health. He was an advocate for both issues, and devoted time educating himself and others. He always shared words of wisdom and encouragement with all those that he met. Lenne’s soul is one of a kind and his path is defined by the imprint he left on others. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Donna Hill of Lake City, FL; his life partner, Meggie Hebb, Waynesboro; three children: Aethan Louis Lenne LaRue, Cadence Justine Lakin LaRue and Alijah James Lathum LaRue; three sisters: Lakin Lyndsey LaRue, Jacksonville, FL, Lauren LaRue, Chunchula, AL and Tonya Hunter, Daytona, FL and one niece and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Virgil and Elizabeth LaRue, and his maternal grandfather, William J. Rice. A Celebration of Lenne’s Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family at www.gofundme.com/lenne039s-life-and-cremation Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
