Glenda J Knowlton Graham 1943 2018

Obituary of Glenda J. Graham
Blanchard- Glenda Jeanne Knowlton Graham, 74, left us peacefully Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018, at her home. She was born August 5, 1943, at home in Blanchard, the daughter of Leon and Celia (Perry) Knowlton. Soon after Glenda graduated from Piscataquis Community High School, she traveled to Boston, Massachusetts, to study for her career in dentistry. To pay her way through college she worked part time as a model and medical assistant. After college, Glenda came back home and met her husband of 26 years, Denny Graham of Greenville. For many years, she worked as a dental hygienist under Dr. Norman Hill in Dover-Foxcroft. Glenda enjoyed watching her hummingbirds every summer, and spending time with her family.
Glenda is survived by her daughter, Keli Graham-Grant, and her husband, Arnold Grant, Jr. and she was a proud “Grammie” to Brady and Cooper Grant, all of Blanchard. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Daryl Knowlton; three sisters-in-law, Joyce, Pamela, and Gloria Knowlton; a very special niece, Christine Sargent; close friend, Louise Vainio; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Wayne, Colby, Melvin, and Donald Knowlton, and sister, Jackie Hansen.
The family wishes to thank CHCS Hospice for their compassionate and loving care of Glenda through her illness.
Services will be private. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
