Waterville-Charlene Pelletier Durocher passed away Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, Waterville after an extended illness at the age of 81. She was born on May 12, 1937 in New Sweden, Maine the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Albert) Pelletier and was a longtime resident of Waterville and Oakland. Charlene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had served many years in the Waterville Ward in many leadership positions in the Women’s and Children’s… Read More » Auxiliaries. She served three years in the Washington, D.C. temple of the Church as an ordinance worker. Charlene was an excellent seamstress and made her elementary school aged daughters dresses and devoted her life as a housewife and mother. Earlier, as a single mother of five children, she supported them in the Connecticut and Massachusetts area as a waitress. As a beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Durocher, several children and siblings, grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held Tuesday April 17, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 50 Washington Street Waterville, Maine.
