Obituary for Tara Lynn Winters Tara Lynn Winters, 41, of Mason City, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Per Tara’s wishes, her body has been cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be sent to Tara’s family at P.O. Box 263, Mason City, IA 50402. Tara was born September 16, 1976, the daughter of Barbara Winters in Mason City. She grew up and attended school in Mason City and later graduated from Des Moines Area Community College. Tara enjoyed all forms and aspects of art. She liked music, writing, drawing, and poetry. She also enjoyed traveling and especially loved reading to her daughter, Kaylee. Tara is survived by her mother, Barb Query of Mason City; five children, Kaylee Ann, Billie, Autumn, Alyssa and Ben Winters; and 15 siblings, Kari (Jerry) Palmer of Des Moines, Gary Winters of Waterloo, Brad Winters of Sandstone, MN, Billy Query of Mason City, Dan Query of Watertown, SD, Debi Foy of Des Moines, Cindi Roath of Colorado, Charlotte Beer of Albert Lea, MN, Crystal Beer of Albert Lea, Chuck Beer of Albert Lea, Chris Beer of Albert Lea, Heather McNealy of Hampton, Delores Krein of Garner, Lisa Germundson of Rockford, and Tina Reynolds of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Query; grandparents, Ruth Grosland and Alvar Olson; and siblings, Mark Winters, Bobby Query and Ricky Query.
