Obituary of Jack F. Prather Jack F. Prather, 92, of Noblesville, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and is survived by daughters, Sara (David) Neitzel and Patricia Prather; and grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Neitzel. After serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII, Jack began his long career as a ‘bean counter’ working for Standard Oil, Stonefort Coal Company and retiring in 1989 as CFO of Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. Jack was a quiet man with a gentle sense of humor. He loved books and dogs (not necessarily in that order). He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you read a book and greet every dog you meet with a pat on the head; or make a donation to the animal welfare organization or library of your choice.
