Obituary for Clifford E. Lowery CLIFFORD LOWERY MORTON – Clifford Eugene Lowery, 83, of Morton, passed away Tues., April. 17, 2018, at Apostolic Christian Restmor, in Morton. Clifford was born May 27, 1934, in Peoria, Ill., to Adlai and Faye (Gooding) Lowery. He married Clara Lamon on April 30, 1956 in Hernado, Miss. She preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his son Dennis and brother James. Surviving are his three daughters, Deb Schultz of Morton, Gina (Darrel) Haynes of Goodfield and Jamie Peterson of Morton; seven grandchildren, Abbi (Tim) Gashaw, Emily Schultz, Dennis Haynes, Megan Haynes, Luke (Alaina) Peterson, Noah and Logan Peterson; and three great-grandchildren, Riley, Regan and Dylan Gashaw. Clifford worked at Caterpillar for 45 years, spending most of that time working in Mossville. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a member of Morton United Methodist Church. Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Morton.
