Obituary for Janice Lynn Poole Janice Lynn (Thompson) Poole (age 65); known by most as Lynn, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on April 17, 2018. Lynn was born on February 16, 1953 to Howard Clark Thompson and Joan Louise (Richards) Jenkins. Lynn was married to her husband of 48 years; Toney Wayne Poole Sr. and was the beloved mother of 3 children. Lynn devoted herself to her family and happily welcomed 4 grandchildren into the world as well. Throughout her life, Lynn touched the lives of many friends through her work at Vantage Products, Lendmark/BB&T Financial, and the Bookshelf Bookstore. Lynn is survived by her mother Joan Jenkins, husband Toney Poole Sr., 3 children Joni Leonard, Christina Poole & Toney “Wayne” Poole Jr., son-in-law Mike Leonard, daughter-in-law Pam Poole, 4 grandchildren Christopher Poole, Michaela Roberts, Lexi Poole & Ethan Leonard, 4 brothers Alan Thompson, Gary Thompson, Darryl Baxter & Carlton Jenkins, and many nieces & nephews. At her passing, she has been reunited with her father Howard Thompson, step-father Aldean “Tex” Jenkins, sister Renee Singletary, and 3 brothers Larry, Wayne & Clayton Jenkins. The Poole family would like to invite all who wish to say “see you soon” to our beloved Lynn to the public viewing at Wheeler Funeral Home on April 20, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The funeral will be held on April 21, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with interment to follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington, GA. A short viewing will be held one hour prior to the service as we prepare her for her next adventure. Lynn is being cared for by the staff of Wheeler Funeral Home, 11405 Brown Bridge Rd. Covington GA 30016. The family has asked that any flowers or expressions of sympathy be sent to the funeral home in preparation.
