Obituary for VickieAnne (Larson) Ponte VickieAnne (Larson) Ponte, 59, of Berlin, widow of Charles D. Ponte, passed away Wednesday (April 11, 2018) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Brookline, MA, daughter of Norman and Patricia (Bombaci) Larson, she lived in the Kensington/Berlin area most of her life. A graduate of Berlin High School, Class of 1976, she was employed as a personal banker at Bank of America for 32 years, retiring in 2016. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in New Britain; was a former church Choir member; volunteered with Christmas Wish Connecticut; and was formerly active in community theatre with both Hole-in-the-Wall and Berlin Community Theatre. Surviving is a son, Matthew Ponte of Newington; a daughter, Kate Ponte of Berlin; a brother, Gary Larson and his wife Christine of Glastonbury as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Saturday 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will be private in Maple Cemetery, Berlin.
