Obituary for Karen A. Dohna (Smith) Karen A. Smith Dohna, 71 of West Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday April 5, 2018 at CT. Hospice. She was the wife of the late Walter W. Dohna Sr. Karen is survived by her son Walter Dohna Jr. and his wife Gina; her grandchildren Justin and Kayla Dohna. She also leaves behind her brother Noel Smith and wife Diane and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Warren Smith and his wife Jean and sister Nancy Smith. For many years she was employed as a medical office secretary for So. New England ENT Group. Karen cherished her religion and took great joy in taking part in many church functions at OLOV Church in West Haven. Relatives and friends are invited to visit between are 5:00 and 7:00 pm on Tuesday April 10th at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
