Geneva Harmon Roberts 1937 2018

Obituary of Geneva Roberts Geneva Harmon Roberts, age 80, of Wytheville, passed away April 25, 2018. She was the daughter of the late George & Belva Arnold Harmon and a member of Liberty Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ell Roberts; daughter, Kathy Akers; sisters, Nannie Arnold, Beulah H. McPeak, Venatta Lewis; brothers, William Harmon, Junior Harmon and Monty Harmon. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Tracy Umberger of Max Meadows; son, Dale Akers of Wytheville; sister, Juanita Coleman of Max Meadows; grandson, Caleb Umberger of Blacksburg; step grandson, Zachary Umberger of Wytheville; great grandchildren, Kylee Bishop of Max Meadows; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held 7 P.M. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Liberty Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by the Reverend Bobby Lewis and The Reverend Bill Akers. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 P.M. until service time. A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
