Obituary for Ray Basinger Ray Basinger, 64, of White Hall passed away April 4, 2018. Born February 18, 1954 in Barstow, California, he was the son of the late George Basinger and Edith Carpenter Basinger. Ray was reared and received his early education in Charleston, Arkansas before moving to White Hall, where he graduated in 1972, before going on to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. Ray worked as a water plant operator for the Pine Bluff Arsenal for 33 years until his retirement in 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Pquieta Basinger; one daughter, Sonia Wallace (Tony); one son, Jeff Wilkins; three grandchildren, Zachrey Wallace, Michael Wallace, and Kirsten Wallace. Services will be 2:00 Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son. Visitation will begin one-hour prior.
