Mr. Calvin B. Grant, 75, formerly of Troy, AL. passed away on April 17, 2018 at Bedford Care. Graveside services will be Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Brownville Pentecostal Church with Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing. Mr. Grant was a member of Petal Harvey Baptist Church in Petal, MS. He served in the Alabama Army National Guard. He was a member of the Gideon’s International, and loved to volunteer with Campers on Mission. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, F. B. and Ola Grant. He is survived by his daughter, Carole Grant (Tommie) Hillman of Petal; his son, Spencer Calvin (Amber) Grant of Laurel; his five grandchildren, Daniel and Josh Hillman, Corey Grant, Sabrina McCourt, and Zackary Fountain; a great granddaughter, Ariana McCourt; his sister, Christine (Harvey) Myrick of Greenville, AL.; two nieces, Debbie Nicoll, and Rachel Leonard; and one nephew, Grant Matthews. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Petal Harvey Baptist Church in Petal, and from 1 pm., Sunday, April 22, 2018 until service time at Brownville Pentecostal Church in Brownville, AL with Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gideon’s International or Campers on Mission
