Marilyn Hightower Rambish 2018

Marilyn J. Rambish, 76, resident of Smith Irwin Road, wife of Marvin L. Rambish, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at her home after losing her battle with cancer.
Marilyn and her husband were the owners for Castaway’s Restaurant for many years. She was employed with Greenwood School District 50 as a substitute teacher until her retirement and was a member of Lupo Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 61 years are, a son, Butch Rambish (Margaret);… a daughter, Rynda McCurry and special friend Dennis Waters; two grandsons, Matthew Rambish (Angela) and Nicholas McCurry (Dru); a granddaughter, Kelly McCurry and Fiancée Russell Parris; six great-grandchildren, Bree, Ella, Christopher, Kenny, Claire and Carlie; four sisters, Mildred Hardin (Sam) of Texas, Johnette Brown (Ed) and Jenny MacKinnon (Dean) both of Colorado and Jacque McDonnell (Kirk) of South Dakota; a sister-in-law Charlotte Lucker of Utah and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased a son and a great grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Saturday, April 7th from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Craig Vandergeest officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Coronaca, SC.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Rambish, Nicholas McCurry, Russell Parris, Don Price, Leonard Pitts and Dennis Waters.
The family is at the home and will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home from 1 PM until the hour of service.
