SIDNEY M. BALL
Sidney M. Ball, 60, of Piqua, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at 3:30 am Thursday March 22, 2018 at the Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1957 in Piqua to the late Marion Michael and Frances (Garman) Ball.
Survivors include two daughters, Samantha Ball of Piqua, Brook Ball of Kenton; two sons, Judd (Kim) Huston of Pace, Florida, Donald Ball of Osaka, Japan; honorary daughter, Jennifer Treon of Piqua; former spouse and caregiver, Sherry Ball; five brothers, Mike (Wanda) Ball, Clyde Ball, Fred (Leona) Ball, John (Clarissa) Ball, Darin (Roberta) Ball all of Bellefontaine; three sisters, Sissy Ball, Sharon Ball both of Bellefontaine, Lucy Herne, of Florida; four, soon to be five granddaughters; mother-in-law, Frances “Granny” Hess; and beloved dogs Sandra and Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Ball; and his father-in-law, Donald Hess.
Mr. Ball was a great fan of tinkering with everything, especially cars and working in the garden. He was a huge fan of music and loved to share his favorite artists with friends and family. He loved to spend as much time as possible with his granddaughters. He also had a love of playing baseball and a good nap.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
