Obituary of Rose Mary Virgo
Rose Mary Virgo, 90, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21st at Morningstar Care Center, Oswego following a long illness. She was born in Oswego, NY, the daughter of the late Lillian and Roy Stewart. Rose Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Carmen Virgo, sister, Alma McClelland and brother, Frank Stewart.
Surviving are a son, Robert (Amy) Virgo of West Palm Beach, FL and a daughter, Carol (Paul) Rutledge of Fulton, NY; two grandsons, Brett and Brian Virgo of West Palm Beach, FL and great-grandsons, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31st at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY with services to immediately follow at 2 p.m.
Rose Mary was a beautiful, gentle soul with a lifelong love of animals. Should you wish to honor her memory, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Paws Across Oswego County, 2035 County Route 1, Oswego, NY 13126.
