Ruth E. Thorne (nee Weinhardt), a 53 year resident of Medford NJ entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2018. She was 88 years old.
Ruth lived in the Oakwood Lakes section of Medford and attended Faith United Presbyterian Church faithfully.
Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Kim (Richard) O’Brien and Karen (Michael) Alecxih. Ruth also leaves behind granddaughters, Korie Alecxih & her fiancé, Pete and twins, Karlie & Regan Alecxih as well as dear friends, Dottie and John McCann, Irene & Woody Freeman and so many numerous others including her church friends.
Ruth was a loving and wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Wife to her family. She also was a meticulous homemaker and enjoyed making crafts, sewing, and cooking. She also spent 20 years working for the piano/organ repair company, The Grubb Brothers.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet with the family on Thursday April 5th from 10:30am to 11:00am at the Faith Presbyterian Church, 318 Stokes Rd. Medford, NJ 08055. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth’s name may be made to the Hope Garden at Faith Presbyterian Church, 318 Stokes Road, Medford, NJ.
