Essie Mae Brown (Broome) passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
Essie Mae was born June 14, 1932 to Alphonso Broome and Lillie B. Friday in Morristown, NJ. She was graduate of Morristown High School class of 1950 and worked as a fire alarm technician at Pyrotronics Inc. in Cedar Knolls, NJ. before retiring in 1988.
Essie is survived by sons Daryl G. Brown, Charles Lamont Brown, Grandson Christopher Lamont Brown, nephews Badford Tyrone Broome (Genny), James Garfield Broome and a number of cousins.
