Herve R. Remy, 97, of Fall River, husband of the late Angelina (Terra) Remy, passed into eternal life on Thursday, March 29th, 2018. He was the owner and operator of Remy’s Shell Service Station which was located on the corner of Plymouth Avenue and Rodman Street. He was later employed by the Foxboro Co.
Herve was a Navy veteran of World War II. He enjoyed golfing and watching the Red Sox.
He was the father of Jacqueline McNamara (husband Leo) and Patricia Bacon (husband Kenneth), all… of Punta Gorda, FL; and the late Paula Remy; the grandfather of Jennifer Meeker (husband Jack) of Vista, CA, Adrienne Bacon of Lutz, FL, Andrew McNamara (wife Reanna) of Orlando, FL; the great-grandfather of Logan Meeker; the brother of Roger Remy of St. Petersburg, FL, Annette Geddis of Pawtucket, RI and the late Imelda Desjardins, Evelyn Larrivee and Joseph Remy; the son of the late Alberic and Mederise (Castonguay) Remy. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
