Obituary of Marcia Jarrett
Mrs. Marcia LaTena Bradford Jarrett, age 91, of Locust Grove, GA passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Autumn Village. Marcia was born on Thursday, October 7, 1926 in Atlanta, GA to the late Chester Arthur Bradford and the late Rosetta Bentley Bradford. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Marcia bowled with the Silver 60’s. She loved her church and talking about the Lord. Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Wyman Platt Jarrett; son, Larry Jarrett; daughter, Nancy Ann Jarrett; granddaughter, Mitzi Morris; great-grandson, Daniel Brock; sister, Ernestine Phillips.
Marcia is survived by her children, June Gowen, Tommy Jarrett, Becky and Don Bell; grandchildren, Tena Brock, Nikki Sandel, Jodie Hough, Shonda Nix, David Gowen, Tiffany Jarrett, Becca Bell; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Van Palmer; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Marcia L. Jarrett will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018 at Heritage Baptist Church with Pastor Terrell Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family at the church on Monday from 12:00 NOON until 2:00 P.M.
