Roy Allen Pierson 2018

Roy Allen Pierson, age 94, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
He was born on August 28, 1923 in Joliet, IL, the son of Roland and Emma Erikson Pierson. On July 22, 1951, he married the love of his life, Dolores Tiefel. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Theodore and Ralph Pierson.
Roy proudly served in the Army Air Corp during World War II, stationed in Panama. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hot Springs. He was a resident of Denver, Colorado for over 61 years and retired from Gates Rubber Company after 38 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dolores Pierson; son and daughter-in-law Lee and Sheryl Pierson of Steamboat, CO; daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Rick Perryman of Hot Springs Village, AR; grandchildren Alyssa Pierson Teague, Kelsey Pierson, Emily Perryman Reynolds; great-grandson Oliver Reynolds, sister Norma Pierson Allison, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
A Memorial service will at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at The Atrium at Serenity Pointe, Hot Springs, with a reception to follow. Reverend Lacy S. Sellars Jr. will be officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Atrium at Serenity Pointe for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers and customary condolences, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Hot Springs or the charity of your choosing.
