Mary Helen Woods Smith, 65, of Brandon peacefully entered the gates of heaven on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Mary Helen was born on March 11, 1959, in Benton, Mississippi in Yazoo County where she attended Benton Academy. The most important people to her were her family. She grew up spending her time surrounded by cousins and siblings. In her later years, the joy of her life were her children and grandchildren. She spent her life as a devoted mother, wife, and friend; however, her most loved title …
