Obituary Zacaraiah was born on May 24, 2021 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL to Kaliyah Thomas. He passed away on October 3, 2022 at OSF Hospital in Danville, IL. Zacaraiah was the first and only child; he was spoiled with everything any child could imagine from his family and friends. His favorite food was snack cakes, macaroni and hotdogs. He loved to play outside with sticks and rocks and taking a bath with bubbles – he just loved being in the water. Zacaraiah also loved playing with balls; he loved throwing them and just holding them is his little hands. He was very smart; he knew how to work the tablet his mom gave him. If you would ask him to get something, he would point and bring it back to you. Zacaraiah loved taking pictures and recording videos of himself on his mommy’s phone. He danced every time he heard music playing which made him the center of attention. His mother knew he was destined for greatness. Zacaraiah was a good baby; he only cried when he wanted to be loved on, his diaper changed or was hungry or tired. He made everyone who was around him happy. His favorite show was Sesame Street; his favorite character was Elmo. He loved to clap and smile when his show was on. He loved to be cuddled and kissed on by his Mommy. He could brighten up any one’s day; he loved being around new people and letting them hold him. Zacaraiah had a great personality; he was always happy, independent, and loveable; he loved to hug, laugh and smile – he could be silly at times and make everyone feel special. He would even share his food with you sometimes. Zacaraiah leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Kaliyah Thomas; father figure, Micah Hatcher; grandparents, Walter Thomas, Valerie January, Regine Thomas and Jujuan Williams, Sr.; great grandmothers Valerie January, Linda Morris; uncles, Jujuan Williams, Izeyah Thomas, Juvontae Williams, Uriyah Thomas and Eric Kelly; great uncle, Antoine Elam; many aunts, Juviyah Williams, Kajari Williams, Eriniyah Kelly, Deveajzah Summers and Margaret Byrd; great auntie, Naquayla Rhodes; and, his favorite cousins, Kassiah Nash and Semaj Nash.
