William Scott Grande January 14, 1963 – October 9, 2022 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card William Scott Grande, known as Bill, was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey on January 14, 1963. Having lived a life full of happiness and strength, he unexpectedly passed away from suspected natural causes Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 59 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Bill is survived by three sons who adore him, Will Grande (Lindsey), Jack Grande, and Chase Grande; four brothers and one sister who love him, Lou Grande (Lee), Dan Grande (Danielle), Rob Grande (Penny), Kim Combes (George) and Paul Gray; his first grandchild, Harper Grande; his godfather, Jack Jenc (Diane); and many extended family. Bill was a loving father, brother and family member, and a friend to all who knew him. Having moved many times throughout the United States in his life, he developed a love of the Minnesota Vikings as a child and was known for his fandom in all aspects of his life. He was the number 1 supporter and fan of his kids and his siblings, always at every game and loved to coach and mentor young people. After building a life and spending many years residing in various neighborhoods of Atlanta, Bill spent his final years in Rocky Mount, VA enjoying a slower side to life. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount. His final resting place will be determined by his sons at a later time. The family is heartbroken by Bill’s sudden passing and wish all friends of Bill comfort during this difficult time.
