William L. McNutt was born November 8, 1934, in Visalia California. He went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Ann McNutt. He is survived by Jack McNutt (brother), William Michael McNutt (son) and wife Julie McNutt, Patrick Scott McNutt (son) and wife Toni McNutt, Tammy Ann McNutt (daughter) and fiancée Kenneth Galterio. Four grandchildren, Daniel McNutt, Max McNutt, Christopher McNutt and wife Murphy McNutt, Cody McNutt and wife Kaitlynn McNutt. Three Great Grandchildren Hudson McNutt, Colt McNutt, and Millie Lou McNutt. William Served in the Army during the Korean war from June 22, 1954 and was honorably discharged on April 5, 1957. Upon leaving the service he married the love of his life Elizabeth Ann Ketron of Kingsport Tenn. William received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cal Poly Tech. William went on to have a successful career in aerospace engineering and worked on the Lunar Landing Module, the B-2 Stealth Bomber, and the International Space Station. William loved spending time with his family, traveling and fishing.
