Alexander, age 68, of Melvin passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at McLaren Hospital, Port Huron. William, better known as Barney, was born in Sandusky, MI to Julia Alexander and the late Arthur Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Alexander; children, Marsha Gadzinski, Teresa Mata, Craig (Roberta) Sheridan and Pastor Amy Eisenmann; step-children, Kimberly Rich (James O’Connor), Candice (Fred) Inbody, Carie (Will) Forton, Kelly (Rick) Peruski; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Karol) Alexander, Helen Humble, Jean Ureel, Marie (Marv) Churchill, Sharon (John) Chandler, Bob (Colleen) Alexander, Tom (Chris) Alexander, George (Cathy) Alexander, Joe (Ronda) Alexander and Judy (Marvin) Harris; and his mother, Julia Alexander. William was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Alexander; sister, Ruth Alexander; and brothers-in-law, Jack Humble and Jim Ureel. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the Maple Valley Event Center in Brown City, MI. A luncheon will follow. Cremation services have been entrusted to Marsh Funeral Chapel in Sandusky, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to The Family Discretionary Fund.
