William “Bill” Monty Evans, 67, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, in Joplin, Missouri. Bill was born January 18, 1955, in Carthage, Missouri to Bobby Lee Evans, Sr. and Doris Eleanor Waddell. Bill retired from H.E. Williams after over 40 years. He loved his truck and helping his family with anything and everything. Bill is survived by a son, Clay Evans of Wichita, Kansas; a daughter, Kari Bruce (Greg) of Pittsburg, Kansas; three brothers, Bob Evans (JoAnn), Randall Evans (Stephanie), and Lonnie Evans (Sherry); two sisters, Roberta Murray Adams (Dean) and Debbie Evans; and three grandchildren, Ryan Bruce, Alex Bruce, and Olivia Bruce. Bill is preceded his parents, Bobby and Doris Eleanor (Waddell) Evans; and one brother, Mike Evans. Private graveside services will be held at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Ulmer Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
