View Tribute Book William (Willy) Salvatore Arigo, 68, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away peacefully in St. Luke’s Hospital, Warren campus, on August, 30, 2022, with his family by his side. The son of Salvatore and Regina (Finnegan) Arigo, Willy was born in Easton, PA on October 10, 1953 and was a lifelong resident of Phillipsburg, NJ. A 1971 graduate of Saints Phillip & James Catholic High School, Willy attended Northampton Community College and worked for the Thomas J. Lipton Company in Flemington, NJ for 30 years before retiring to work part time at The Order of the Fleas and Target for an additional 20 years. Willy enjoyed fishing and was extremely proud of a record-breaking catfish he caught in the Delaware River and was featured in The Express Times. He loved the Jersey Shore, vacationing in Florida, watching his grandson play baseball and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He was a proud member of The Filmore North Gang where he was fondly known as The Admiral and a member of The 10/10 Club. He is survived by a daughter Season Scheirer and husband James, of Bethlehem, PA, a grandson, Jacob; sisters, Regina Arigo of Venice, FL and Linda (Bill) Clother of Hampton, NJ; several nieces, nephews and cousins; close friends Harv and Deb Meyers, Ron S. and John M. He held dear the memories made with friends over the course of his lifetime and felt deep gratitude for those who came to his aid when he was in need. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. Visitation & Memorial will be held on Friday, September 9th from 6-8pm.
