William Allen “Tuck” Widener ,62, of Damascus, VA passed away at home with his family on Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was born on March 31, 1960, a son of the late Tommy Allen Widener and Virginia Ellen “Toots” Widener. He was a life long resident of Washington County, VA. He spent many years driving as an over the road truck driver (several of those with Walling Distributing) as well as driving as an owner/operator. He enjoyed cutting up with his grandchildren and never met a stranger. He was always late to dinner and will be missed by his friends and family. Allen is survived by his son, Jarryd Widener (Nicole), two daughters, Chasity Craft (Christian) and Danielle Drake (Nathan); seven grandchildren, Jonathen, Carter, Morgan, Cate, Jonah, Lauren and Caroline. A private graveside celebration of life will be held for the family only at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Condolences for the family may be sent and viewed by visiting www.garrettfuneralhome.com.
