Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Wilburn K Hays, age 81 of Lavinia, will take place at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 18, 2022, at Lavinia Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lavinia. Visitation with the family will take place Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Born to the late Jim McKinley Hays and Ada Belle Hays on August 16, 1941, Wilburn Hays, passed away on November 16, 2022, at Jackson General Hospital. Wilburn was a member of Lavinia Baptist Church. He retired from the Milan Box Factory. Surviving Family: Wife – Alicia Hays of Lavina, TN Sons – Terry Hays (Carrie) of Cedar Grove, TN, Alan Hays (Jeannie) of Lavina, TN and James Hays of Cedar Grove Brothers – G R Hays (Jane) of Lavina, TN, and Tom Hays (Louise) of Lexington, TN Sisters – Virginia Roberts of Lexington, TN and Helen Moore (Ray) of Lexington, TN Grandchildren – Kaleigh Hays, Emilee Hays, Hailee Hays, Levi Hays, and Wyatt Hays Great Grandchildren – Eyden King and Eli King Besides his parents, Wilburn is preceded in death by three brothers, Orbie, Curtis, and Dorsey Hays.
